Much like that classic line of George Carlin, I was thinking this evening...... if 20+ years ago someone said "I would like a way to keep all the SPAM out of my mailbox" Rather than make this end up being a bunch of copy/paste Steven Wright jokes. Lets hear your real world observations you have had in a similar fashion. Mostly how phrases today may have gotten you a strange look if you were to go back in time and say them ..... like Marty on Back to the Future encountered.
Can't remember that one, but on the theme, a 'beaver panel' has rather different meanings in Australia than the USA. Ditto for a "Durex" in the UK and here in Aus.
