Well guys, I have been asked alot by the board members on when are we going to have that picnic again.....and I'm trying to figure out where and when again. It was totally awsome due to the weather conditions on how many members showed up and brought food and everything....hats off to you guys :beer ....but this time I'm going to let the board members decided on a meeting place and a date :TU: ...I figured why not get everyone involved for this late spring and early summer get together. So the table is open, and its just an idea that I'm throwing out again to see where it goes!

Oh and I havent heard much from Marco, but I know he will be just excited about this as I am

Let the ideas roll in gang :3gears:

Ohh.....and Im more than willing to pay for this years' T-shirt. That was VERRRRY generous of Nick last year but shouldn't be expected again. If he objects to money....lets all just hold him down and stuff cash in his ears

Sounds like Marco need to get in touch with his friend who helped us out the last time.....maybe we should get the gazeebo this time....we would be WAY closer to our cars and there would be TONS more room and lots of parking.....trust me it may cost a little extra but its worth it :TU: . I guess I'm the designated burger flipper again  and I dont mind 1 bit, it was alot of fun the last time and I'm sure everyone would have an awsome time again, after all its what the hobby and the board is all about. As far as the weather gods are concerned, its pot luck....maybe we can get the spot a little later then what we planned before so we can avoid the rain issue....my Buick is still drying out from that rain :Dou: . I'm glad to see your interested Alan, oh and BTW, I will be at Buick nats this year at E-town to race the lil 350 and see what it does after I change the gears and do a little mods. I finally got the distribuitor issue taken care of after 3 years of hell with it ...:eek2: that remids me, I gotta check it again...dam bushing  . Sounds like a good plan Alan, just as long as everyone was happy with the place and the location of last years :beer

Well... the June picnic was such a fun time because we were right where are cars were.

In the park the food was a good 1/4 mile from where we parked. I am not sure if any spots are close enough to the parking lot that we'd get to walk among the cars.

And with other park visitors, we might be forced to park cars far away from everyone else.

If last June's host is willing to be host again (and everyone's willing to travel down from NY/NJ/LI/CT again, it would be a blast.

I can fit maybe 12 cars in my back yard and another 12 or so in the driveway and front yard with plenty more room on the neighborhood street. And I am offering to host if nobody has a better idea.

Too bad community parks are so uptight about cars on the grass. Like it will permanantly destroy the foliage or something.

Hey Alan, how big is your crib???

I had a lot of fun last year meeting people, despite the torrential rain! I guess I'll once again be struggling to get my car on the road in time... :Dou:

I would probably also be in as long as the car is up and running! That sounds great. I missed it last year but really wanted to go. I know a few other Buick guys that would be in also.

Pete, glad to see you got a buick and its nice to see you getting involved with the board  :TU: ....Yardley, I'm more then willing to travel to your neck of the woods, the park wasnt a bad idea, its just that it wasnt so convient to look at all the cars and enjoy them while we ate. Not only that, we would save tons of money by doing it your way!!! :TU: . Just as long as everyone else thinks it a good idea, its a go....besides we can plan it a week in advance and see how the weather is too....so your idea Yardley does has it advantages :TU: . I would have it at my place, but parking is a BIG issue with the neighbors  .

AHEM! MARCO, come out come out where ever you are  .....also Duane too...I'm surprized that those 2 didnt jump on this post yet LOL.

Yardley, so far I like your idea the best....just my opinion of course :)

If we go back to Holmdel Park lets spring for the Gazabo, we deserve it.
Should Nick be willing to run another batch of shirts "WE" pick up the costs. I'll offer the first $20.00
Just to throw out another possible time to get together the F.A.S.T and SA cars are going to be at Englishtown this year (July?) This is their first appearance in the North East and we should encourage all to be there. Eating, drinking and racing how much better does it get?
Those who want to come in from afar just make your request for a motel, couch, floorspace, place to pitch your tent, whatever and we'll see what we can work out for you.
