    Hello Everyone!

For sale is a reconditioned posi for a 2-series 8.5" 10-bolt rear end. I purchased this here awhile back from Ken @ Everyday Performance. I no longer need this, as I am going to upgrade the entire rear end on my Skylark. I haven't even opened the box that Ken sent me. This is a link to the thread that I purchased it from:

    http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/3-10-bolt-8-5-posi-units-410409-reconditioned-f-s.343107/

I am only looking to break even, not trying to make a buck. Asking $225 plus actual shipping from 53719.

As always, get inline here first and then shoot me a PM for payment info. I prefer PayPal via F&F.

    Thanks!!

    The 410408 is 3-series
    The 410409 is 2-series

Oops, you're right Brian! My bad! It is a 410409, the 2-series carrier. I'll fix the listing. Thank you!

I also forgot to add that I have the spacer for 3-series gears that I will include at no cost. :)

    Interested.

Do you have pictures. Is it rusted or was it oiled prior to being boxed up?

Also, what gears fit this posi without a spacer?

The 2 series case works with 2:41 and 2:56 gears sets. 3 series works with 2:73 and up gear sets.

I linked the thread that I bought this from above, and I noticed that you replied to that thread as well. As I stated above, I haven't unboxed it at all. It should be in the same condition as the photos from Ken, I've had it in dry storage since I got it. I can get you photos if you need them, I may need a day or two to get out to my storage unit.
