I was able to find the correct windlace for the door jamb and a pillar on my 66 skylark. The gentleman selling it listed it as dark red. My vehicle interior color is Met Red. Upon arrival I found out that the windlace is just regular bright red and in no way matches my interior. What can I do?
Wipe with lacquer thinner..spray with Bulldog adhesion promoter...light mist coat....spray Sem or similar vinyl dye....if you can find lacquer based color even better..light coats
