This question was already posted in chassis restoration by dschwarze who has a 64 Wildcat, with little response. I have a 64 Riv and found the same thing he did. When I removed the rear springs, there was a flat steel plate on the driver's side the spring sat on. There wasn't one on the passenger side. Is this normal? Wayne
