My rear (center of the seat) speaker has never produced sound in my Electra since I've owned the car. Before I dig into the back seat and trace wires, etc., is there anything I should check up at the radio first when trouble-shooting this? Even something really simple like something I may not know that turns the back speaker off???

For example, do the radio fader/volume dials ever fail which might be a cause for this issue? I'm grasping a bit, but want to tackle the easier possible issues first.

Thanks in advance for any ideas,

    Rob

Don't know on '67 for sure but I've seen warnings in the '71 Chassis Manual.
Do not operate the radio without the fader in place. Cars without a rear speaker had a jumper across the terminals the fader used.
