alright earlier i seen a post in hear that said the chevelles have the same glass and the same style trunk lids and can be used for converstion, then a thought came into my head and said if that's true then the rear deck filler panel would have to be the same, so then i could just get a chevelle repro rear deck filler panel and be saved from the rust and holes
You may want to qualify that the glass is the same on a chevelle and a GS or skylark. The skylark has a diffrent contour. I think the chevelle has a more vertical shape then the skylark. I know the window corners are definetly diffrent.
The deck is the same. The rear glass and mouldings are different. Just verified this when I tried to put a rear glass and mouldings on a customer's chevelle off one of our skylark parts cars. The lower part of the skylark glass is curved and the chevelle is straight. Sorry! Bob Lorenz
