Been doing some searching to try to locate the correct springs that I'll need for my car. As you can see,it appears that 1-1 1/2 inch taller will do the job. As of now,I have the 5385 Moog GS 455 stock rear springs in it currently. I was running Weld Draglites with 4 1/2 BS and 275/60/15 tires. I want to upgrade to the Cooper Cobra 295/50/15 tires on 15x10 Centerline wheels with 5 inch BS.It seems that the rear station wagon (sport wagon) may lift it too much for my liking Is there a better choice? What are the guys that run the 10 inch wheels and 295's run? 20190405_181038.jpg

I believe you will need the rear station wagon coils to clear the 10"s with 5BS with 225 on the front, maybe not then.

I put those cargo coils on my 70, CC501, plus 1 inch billet spacers. rides great....

Tried out the wheels on my car. They fit up under the wheel well for the most part, but I believe that when turning a corner or going up in a lot, they would rub on the upper sidewall.I believe the coil springs Jason has will raise it up a bit more as the spring height on the ones I have are 12.6 inches.I will have to buy new open ended lug nuts as the ones I use with my Drag lites are a longer shaft. The lugs bottom out with these wheels and don't tighten up. Luckily,I have a good assortment and made it work. 20190406_112127.jpg 20190406_112133.jpg

I think Jason gave you the spring size, you need to check the diameter of the coil. Just because it is taller does not mean it will set higher, it also has to do with coil rate. I had 10's - 5BS with 295's on my convertible with cargos coils. They were fine with the 225 front but when I put 255 on the front it caused the rear to hit the side wall when it hit the right bump. Just that change in angle made the difference. I have 275-60 on now and am changing back to a 295-50 this spring. I ended up putting air bags in with just a few pounds, just in case.

Was just looking at the comparison between the CC501 and 5385 springs Bar diameter is .59 to .61 on the 501 spring rate 168 to 175 and load 602 to 810. I have air bags to use if needed and want to put retro air shocks on as well with minimal air pressure in them. The front runners will also be 28x7.50x15's

The air shocks will not ride well but the air bags will work better and ride better..
