The body shop has finally painted the car and we are re-assmbling now:grin: I need help in the location of the rubber blocks between the car body and bumper. I can't find my pics of when it was dissasembled. So if anybody has a pic or info on this it would be a great help.
    Thanks Rick

Rick, if I remember correctly from my '70 Skylark, the rubber blocks were spaced to break the area into 3rds - meaning each block was about a 1/3 of the total length in from the sides of the car. I believe these are just there to act as a cushion/minor support so the top of the bumper doesn't flex or move around much. The exact placement isn't critical. Hope this helps.

Thanks Paul we just wanted to make sure which way they go they have slits on both sides. With the info they are placed and the bumper is put on and no hassles. Less chance for scratching the new paint!!
    Thanks Rick
