What kind of rear bar are you running? Mine broke so looking for experience. I read the HRParts info and spoke with them sounds great. Cheers!!
The HRparts sway bar does look like a really nice part. Im going to have to wait a while before I can afford that one though. Hopefully a stock rear swaybar and some airbags will get me into the 11's for now.
http://www.bmrfabrication.com/swaybars/XSB006.jpg BMR makes a nice piece as well. Similar to the HR in design also available in black. When I do get a bar it will probably be the HR. Paul's stuff is top shelf.
I'm running Hotchkis front and rear bars, and I like the setup. Gets rid of the old car roll on the corners. -Josh
Just bought the tubular upper&lowers with sway bar from http://www.umiperformance.com/ came in today. It is REALLY nice made product. will be installing this weekend along with my new rear end. i searched on this site and read some good feedback on there product. plus its hand made in PA, USA! pics to follow
I like the H&R stuff but was not happy about how low it hangs under the pig. I usually do not care that much for Hotchkis but I think their new bar is well designed.http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=141475
I've put ADDCO sway bars on several cars with much success (probably 8 cars since 1970) They fit well and truely work. I rebuilt suspension of '68 with new parts last year. While apart I upgraded to handling package available then and am pleased with results. Larger front sway bar and back bar with boxed control arms provide good stability, especially since I did +1" on tires and wheels. (Originally it only had front bar.) Now to find some good shocks...
Try to locate, if you can, an ATR big sway bar. I have that on my car and even with no front sway bar, the car handles like stock.
