Where is the voltage regulator located??? I know realy dumb, but Im trying to find out how bad this wiring harness has been hacked up... Thanks Michael

ahhh, wiring! my favorite part of car repairou: if you are like me you have 4' arms and hands with fingers like sausages and the problem is under the dash behind the stearing column :ball: the most messed up wiring job i have ever had to fix was in a 55 chevy truck i bought one time. the guy i got it from had pulled the truck out of the river with a bunch of other cars used as ripprapp by some farmer [happened a lot around here up until the 70s]. he rebuilt the truck from the ground up but did a lousy job of wiring, so i had to redo it all basically from scratch. what a nightmare! and this truck was pretty simple. i have seen some real nasty webs under dashes. usually caused by some dork trying to take out his $$$ car stereo and in the process ripping every wire in his way. :rant: i will usually pass on a car that doesnt have a stereo in it just because of this. good luck, michael!
