That would make things really hard to see out the back, It's already hard enough backing into parking spots.
It is cool though! I read somewhere that when the '63 split window Vette came out Bill Mitchell threw a fit about the split window. I guess he hated it to the point that it disappeared for '64.
Boooo.... nice exicution of a bad idea though. I can't imagine having to drive something like that, I'd be like driving a really small box van where the is no point for a rearview mirror since you couldn't see jack anyway. If you did it with a smaller pillar might be good enough for a profiler.
Mitchell and Larry Shinoda actually designed the split, Zora Duntov had such a fit about it that it disappeared after 1 year. Interesting look on the Riv.
