whilst taking the intake, timing cover off ready for taking off the heads look at the lifters number 4 and 7 from left - they are missing the retainers :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: :jd: luckily after 5 minutes of looking through the oily buildup i found both the missing retainers :beer :beer :beer
Mark, A little note before you pull those heads - you might like what you hear: Mark, when you pull the heads, look to see what size the valves are. If there is no more than the width of a dime between the intake and exhaust valves, then you have yourself a "Modified Hi Performance 455" optioned engine. Let us know what you find!!!
