    Fellow Buick Enthusiests,

When I bougt my 56 Buick it had been sitting Idle since 1970. The fuel line is clogged and pretty well Corroded at the Unions. I opted to purchase a new Stainless Fuel Line from INLINE TUBE, who by the way provided Excellent Service. I ordered it on Monday and arrived from Michigan to Rhode Island on Wendsday.
The Gas Tank appears to be in Decent Shape. It holds Air. I suppose I should Drop the Tank and Go Through It. How should I proceed from there? How Should I Clean it? What Products should I use? Should I Etch It? and Seal It? What Vendor/Suppliers should I Purchase From?
I'm Open to Any/All Suggestions/Opinions. I want to Do This Right for the First and Last Time.
Thanking YOU in Advance for You Valued Cooperation and Experience in This Matter.

If they make one get a new tank. If this tank is remade it would be about $200.00.

A good local Radiator shop can Boil it out and check for leaks. Compare the price locally as to what it would cost you to do half as good a job as the Radiator shop. Compared,to a new one if there is a source for a new one.:Smarty::bglasses:

Thanks Guys, For YOUR Insight. There appears to be a Few Methods toChoose From. I just have to figure out What Choice To Make for My Application. I have Dual Exhaust System. In order to drop the tank I have to Remove The Left Tailpipe, I cut the Fuel Fill to the Tank andthen RE soldier it on. I think I will Sacrafice the Tailpipe. I'm going to do this Job ONCE and Do it Right taking Every Possible Precaution. I am concerned about any existing Interior Bafles. The Chain Insertion May Disloge the Bafles. The Soap Metid is Good. I would use casacge with a power washer set up on my compressor 70 lb. psi.
I really appreciate the input as well as the creative procedures our members have been able to Improvise
