Just bumping these to the top.

It is amazing just to look at them on line.

These are not my quarter panels - so you can add some input if you want.

Looks like a real sweet deal.....for the seller!

You going to be at E-town this year?

It would be nice if they were less money and many miles closer.

I will be going to E-Town next month. The last few times at E-town I have gone down as a buyer. I also have gone on Friday only. I might change my mind and get a spot last minute.

    Are you going to E-Town?

I skipped E-town last year. It's been getting to be more of a yard sale and less finds, but might try it again if weather is nice for Friday.

I have 2 sets and I know what I paid for them 10 and 15 years ago, while these are high, how many NOS sets do you think are out there or more importantly available for sale. If you want the best for a high end restoration you have to pay for it every step of the way.

I also know of a couple of sets myself (not mine) that are out there tucked away, but rarely do we see them for sale on the open market. Last set I personally knew of that sold in a private party sale was for $1K each. Last set I saw on ebay were listed for $2K each (several years ago) and they did not sale. As far as the set on eBay right now...that guy is fishing and hoping someone will bite. If those were for a convertible he might get $5k, but I doubt he will get $5k for the pair of HT 1/4s. I've never seen or heard of anyone with a set of NOS convertible 1/4s but there are probably a few sets out there too.

If these sell for $5K, I wouldn't be surprised to see some others suddenly become available.

It sure would be cheaper to pay a fabricator to make patch panels or buy a complete parts car out west and sell the parts not needed to get some money back.

you will see those still for sale in 5 years.

One other member here has/had another NOS quarters as well. And were looking to get $1800 each for them. But as far as I know they still have them.

If someone just starts making good patch panels any of these panels will decrease in value drastically. It happened with 1964-65 Skylarks quarters.
