I had my car in second gear by mistake. I guess I ran the rpm a little higher than normal. Ran out of fuel. Was not watching the tach, but it did not sound much higher than 5000 rpm. Its a stock motor with mild cam and a Qjet. Is this common of a stock fuel pump, or more of a float adjustment issue? John
