Yea and another VERY boring plate race, Nascar had got to do something with these races, the trucks put on the best show and then busch cars.....very sad that your top series puts on the worst race. :rant:
I didn't think it was that bad. there were lead changes, cars were able to come up from the back, lots of passing. I just think Gordon should have been reprimanded for his actions on pit road twice. First by cutting off the 88 when Gordons own Crew was trying to have him stop he just pulls out. Yea tell me about it. shoot, Indy car and even motorcycles race in the rain. Stick a grove down the center of the tires and go for god sakes. I finally got tired of waiting and then when I turned back COPS was on. Even the TV station got tired of waiting. I caught the last 90 laps around 12am. It was good. Little E made a killer move. I have done that in traffic many times. But it did not payoff. Though Jeff had commercials comments to keep so he had to win the race.
I know what you mean but every body loves Gorden. Also once the flag waves there isn't much love on the track. Gorden is good but bad in a way. No says says you must play nice in racing and he take every advantage there is. I use to love his last lap bump n runs. Its dirty as hell but legal. It racing. If you want to win you gotta just go for it. Though the teams thing would work better if they would sign some 2nd n 3rd place racers. Someone eager to race who will gladly agree to push the main car and never win a race. Unless they are the last team member left. Problem still with team once toward the line they all want to be 1st. Id gladly sign a 2-3rd place deal.
I believe the best race (with plates) was the last time they ran the aero-package like the busch cars run....with the strip on the roof. They need to do something, I can't take many more like last night, there was "some" passing but it was all behind the leader, very little going on up front.
