    Mark,

How much are you looking to spend?

You can get a really, really nice stock AM/FM here for about $350.00

Or you can contact stlradio, (stlradio@swbell.net), he charges about $200 - $225 for a nice stock AM/FM. I got a 69 and a 70 from him for my cars. He also sells on ebay (stlradio). Here is a picture of the 70 I got from him. Tell him Chris Pollak from the Buick website referred you!

    Mark,
Do you want an "original" radio for LOOKS, or do you want a radio that you will USE (that SOUNDS good)? :Do No:

It might be difficult to have BOTH!

A "Factory" Buick AM/FM radio is weak in power, but can be "upgraded" for $$$. It would have NEW internal components, but still LOOK original.

Custom Autosound has a (Kenwood) radio with a BUICK faceplate, for about $300. (I don't like to "advertise" for them, as anyone can buy the same Kenwood radios that they sell, for 1/3 of what they sell them for!).

I'll try to make a trip your way, Mark, to help you out, if you'd like. I'll bring one of my Skylarks, so you can see how I've upgraded mine, for Fit and Function. (I call my '70 Skylark, a "Home Theater on wheels", with only a Kenwood AM/FM/CD deck, and 4 Speakers, 2 in the Dash and 2 in the Rear Deck! :eek2: :bglasses: )

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

A local firm takes your existing radio, working or not and builds them to spec.
They can make an AM radio into AM/FM stereo and also had amp outputs.
I have been there several times and they are always busy.

So, this way you can buy any non-working Skylark radio and have them do the work. I believe the fee is $275-300 for a loaded am/fm w/cd input and
    amp outputs.

    Just an idea! :Smarty:

Thanks for the info. I want a nice radio that will fit the bezel. I don't care that it is not stock as I want to enjoy driving my GS. Thanks Mark
