I have a 70 am/fm stock radio. How do you change the light or lights inside the radio.Itwould be easier to see at night.

Take off the radio bezel (requires removing the buttons, and a couple nuts) and then loosen the radio so that you can move it around in the dash. If you can pull it out of the dash even better, but it isn't necessary. There will be a gray (I believe) wire running from the left side of the radio up into the top through a plastic "ring" type thing. Use a small flathead screw driver to pop this thing out, the light bulb is attached to the bottom side. Someone may be able to post a picture for you, but it is fairly easy once you get in there. It should only take 5-10 minutes to do.:Smarty:

I took the radio out of the dash in only some minutes but I don't see any plastic ring or "gray" wire running to the top of the radio .... the only things connected to the radio is the antena and a plug with 3 wire (for power suply , speakers and ? ) in the back ... the radio is still working btw so that couldn't be the fuse .

:Do No: Is the bulb "inside" the radio with no possibility to change it ?? I don't believe there is no way to find it out ... still looking

If you don't have the grey wire running to the top and still have not fixed the lite email me and I will go to the garage attic and get out my 68 delco radio book to check on it for you .

If it's not on top it almost would have to be opened to get to it . But don't take my word for it I will check on it for ya if needed.:TU: :TU:

I just did an install on my 68 today. The wire and bulb holder was not connected to radio. It was up under dash for some reason unknown to me.
