I have a Wildcat and I don't particularly want to cut the dash, but I need tunes. Anybody have a relocated radio idea?
Do you want a CD player? Look over at www.gardenofspeedin.com and see if their radios will work for ya...
I've always liekd the Glove box actually. In the Riv, I created a Faceplate that fits the size of the glovebox with a nice piece of oak, and Installed it there, Hidden, yet snazzy if you open the glove box
Custom Autosound sells a secret audio unit that will fit just about anywhere (but you may have to make your own harness if it is too far from the dash) with wireless remote for under $250. They also sell cd changers to work with it, but I prefer a less expensive changer that uses rf through the radio antenna. The cool thing is that you can keep the original radio in the dash and no one can tell that you've got a much better system better hidden from sight.
I use a SONY AM/FM/CD reciever, that I mounted in a box under my Drivers seat. You can order a WIRED remote to control it. I have the remote in my center console. The stock AM radio is in the dash for looks only.
