    swyto Got parts? Any bait?

Hoping someone out there can help me out. Which bottle is correct for an early model year 1970 GS455 (built in Fremont, Ca.). The clear top radiator overflow bottle or the black top?
    Thanks, Robert

Depends on the build date. Usually the pointed lens cars had the clear top.

It's a pointed lens car. Already bought a clear top one and was holding my breath. Thanks for your help, Robert

I think the view is that if the build date is befroe December 1969 it would be the clear top. If it was in December 69 and perhaps some into January it might have either top. I know I have owned some cars fromm those months that had a combination of the original and late year features.

    Thanks Jim

I have a copy of the wholesale car order and it's dated Nov. 69 so I think I'm still ok. Appreciate your input! Robert
