OK, next question in the continueing saga of finding parts that fit a 68 Riv...I'd like to get a new set of mounting pads (parts book calls them insulators, I think) for the radiator. Apparently all the 68 Riv radiators used the same pads because the end tanks for the radiator were all the same, just the number of rows in the core made the difference between regular and heavy duty cooling. I bought a set off eBay that was supposed to fit 68 Rivs, and I guess technically they sort of do fit, if you don't mind using a pair that are way the hell too long for the small tank on the left side and that the set I bought only has one mounting tit that doesn't match up to either of the two holes in the upper cover or the two holes in the radiator support. Other than pretty much everything being different, they're a good fit. Anyway, I checked with NAPA, no luck, so I was hoping some of you folks might have a lead on some pads that would actually be correct. I checked CARS online, nothing there either. Appreciate any help!
