My rad blew. It's the original on my '68 Electra. Now the big question is, 3 row or 4. Stock engine, no mods, with A/C in Hot South Florida. As it came with a 3 row, is that enough in my climate? I would greatly appreciate any input, including suppliers if 4 row, as I can't find one here. Thanks a bunch. John.

I put a HD 4 row Modine in my '73 225 (180 stat) and I love it. Drove the other day on the NY Thruway, probably in high 80's outside, avergaing about 75 mph, A/C on full blast and the temp never got over 185, except when I stopped to pay the toll and it went to about 198, then in about 5 minutes of driving, back down to about 183.

So now i have a 4 row, but the trans cooler holes are way smaller. Is it ok to get adapters to the smaller size, or am I going to be restricting the flow too much? Anyone else run into this? John.

    John,
Adapters will work just fine. Anyway you can hook it up leak free will work. You can also run an extra cooler out front, that never hurts(and you'll only need to adapt one line)
