We all went to thompson to race in their independence day event last nite,funny cars,outlaw warriors,bob motz jet truck,quick 8,etc.In attendance were renee and denny,me and sandy,randy and even lisa,yay lisa,,and doug and connie.It was a great show with fireworks at 10:30pm,and the racing was perfect with cool temps. Congratulations go out to Doug,who made it to the last 3 cars in Top,Denny who went several rounds,and Sandy who go down to 4 cars in mod,the red eye got denny and doug,and sandy spun a little ,did'nt run the #,And me ,duh,went out first round,booo!! But the others carried the banner high,way to go guys!!:beer gary
Another great showing of buicks Gary Congratulations go out to Sandy and Doug. Sandy was doing great on the tree and Doug was doing a heck of a job DRIVING that car all night. Was another great time at Thompson, we had another 6 buicks out there and one representing each class in the semis (top and modified). We will be doing this again very soon. :grin:

Gary, i can't believe that Lisa said she had fun:TU: Jackie wanted us to go out on Sat. nite too & race but i had a few projects at home i needed to finish. We missed racing with you...went to night under fire at Norwalk. My first class call was at 12:00. I had to run top class against box cars. Since my only hope was to cut a tight light the inevitable happened...red light. Steve went quite a few rounds. His last round class call was at 5:30 AM. It was a great week-end in lots of other ways. Planning on changing my convertor tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be back in the high tens. Even bigger hope is this will be the last time we have to tear the little car apart. Leanne
