Found an 87 Trans Am GTA in the junkyard my friend and I are going to remove parts from. Does anyone know if the steering box and front sway bar can be adapted to my 73 Century? Will the box bolt to the frame, fit on my factory centerlink and connect to my column without issue? I put poly bushings and end links on my stock bar about two years ago and added a small rear sway bar from about a 77 Pontiac Grand Prix. That alone did wonders for the cars handling. So I'm thinking the T/A GTA's quick ratio steering box with that FAT front bar would be even better or complete overkill. Thanks for any replies gents, I'll check back later...Tim

I do not think the front bar will fit the ones I use are from 70-81 Trans Am's they are 1 1/4" and bolt right in. as for the steering box it should fit but has the wrong hoses and would bneed adaptors and you may also lose some turing radius I also use trans am 70-81 boxes on mine as well but look for ones that have inverted flair fittings.

I just bought a 76 Century and will be doing all these to my own car in the next few months as I find out what fits i will post it in this post
