I was thinking it would be fun to build-up a Buick 350 motor for my 66 Skylark. More displacement, and parts are easier to find, so it might be better long-term than working on my tired 300 motor.

    So questions -

    1. Will the 350 bolt up to my ST300 tranny without any modifications? What about motor mounts?
    2. What 300 parts I already have will work with this motor?

What can you tell me about this engine (for sale on eVILbay)

"Here is a Buick 350 engine it is mostly complete with distributor, exhaust manifolds, intake fuel pump flywheel and waterpump..motor turns over fine and I got it a few years ago as a good running Engine but I never heard run and sold car it was going in i think it is a 71-72 motor Engine # is 382201 and intake is B1249169-3..see pictures sold as is ..i will assist in loading or shipping but you make arrangements if shipping i will pallatize and load on carrier of your choice and arrangements..I accept checks, money orders and PAYPAL..may also pick up at auctions end..located just south of Columbus ,Ohio on rt 23 in South Bloomfield"

Can anyone tell anything about this engine from thsoe numbers? Is this a good rebuild candidate?

    Thanks!

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

68-80 Buick 350 engines are basically the same.

For your car I would suggest a 70-2 version and purchase a "core" engine for a rebuild.

All items from the 300 will bolt to the 350.
