Question about yhe Steering Shaft...?

    When performing the Engine swap to a BBB from a SBB, is it necessary to change the Steering Shaft from a BBB into my car.I have a 1972...advantages/disadvantages ? Thanks, Mr.Jay B.Britt,Jr.

    I don't believe so. I put a bbb in a 72 suncoupe and it bolted right up.

    I have a sbb shaft in my 462 powered 70. May not be correct, but it goes just as fast for less money. ....Jim
