Well, it looks like I won't be getting that Buick GS ('67 GS 400 or '69 Stage 1, '70-'72 GS Stage 1, or '70-'72 GS 455) after all. Not any time soon, anyway. For an early birthday gift, (my birthday was on Oct. 14), my six-month job assignment was abruptly halted after three months. I'm now unemployed and I forsee some tough times for myself unless I find something quick. Anyway, I know I was harsh in my "Starting to lose faith in the Buick faithful" post (I corrected my position after learning otherwise), and again, I do apologize. There are a lot of great people on V8Buick.com who were trying assisting me with my search, and I do want to thank all of you who were so supportive and helpful. It means a lot to me, and it definitely made me eat crow for my unfair assessment of the Buick faithful in my post. I shouldn't have been so judgemental and impatient. Anyway, I may check in from time to time, but I won't be visiting the site for a while. Maybe never again if my financial situation doesn't significantly improve. Please don't get me wrong. I'm not looking for any pity or sympathy. I did want to express why I've pretty much given up my quest, but I also wanted to express my gratitude to those of you who encouraged me and provided assistance in my search. There a lot of good people among the Buick crowd. Again, thanks for your support and assistance. Don't give up Roy. Think Positive. I'm now working 1 week on 1 week off and my three brothers are laidoff. We all work for Ford. I expected to have my stg2 Special done for Spring but it's on hold. So is anything to do with my GS car. Things can only get better. Good Luck for the future.
