I've broken the vacuum break control lever 38728 on my 1970 Big Block Buick Quadrajet.

Is there a way to fix this, or is a new old part in order?

The Buick 350 piece 38729 is different (of course!)

Contact Ken @ Everyday Performance , he's in the vendor section of the board here. He'll likely have it.

Braze or weld the broken piece back together.

Rhett, I've contacted Ken so perhaps he'll have this piece. Thanks for sending me his way.

Tom, the muggy weld folks, who make a product called "Super Alloy 1", which melts at a low 350 degrees F, say that the finished job "may be able to be bent slightly. " Is that what you're referring to? I am very comfortable welding sheet steel, but I welded on pot metal once and it was a disaster! Perhaps I need to get back on that horse?!
