Since I got such excellent response to my last question I thought I would ask another one. I just picked up a whole set of original (Delco if I remember correctly) Quadrajet primary and secondary rods and jets in the original packaging. When I say an entire set I mean every rod ever made, literally. Do they have any value?

    Thanks in advance.

I may be posting a lot of questions as I just picked up a ton of Buick parts and there are still a lot more ready for me when I can free up some space.

Those are of absolutely no value. They'll just take up valuable space in your house. I'll take them off your hands though - even pay for shipping! Actually Brian, I don't live far from you. I'll come pick them up - that way you can look at my one of a kind code 16 16 GS.

    Brad,

You're in Roseville. I have a house in Placerville, not to far from you.

Shucks Brian, next time you come through I'll meet you at Hazel Avenue and 50 and take those worthless Q-jet rods off your hands. Couldn't be easier!

All kidding aside, didn't you used to have the 3 X cars? Yellow, orange, green? Your current resto looks great. Makes me sick to think that I "dumped" my X almost 15 years ago now.

    Brad,

No, I didn't have the 3 GSX's. You're thinking of Bryan Brown. He lives in Los Altos. He sold his 70 and 71 but he still has the 72 GSX in his garage. Great car. Have you seen the before and after pictures of the 72? It's amazing what Bryan did to get the car looking as good as it does. Great guy and a true car lover.

Too bad you got rid of your X but we've all done similar things in the past. Bad part of it is the cost of replacing it in today's market. The parts prices alone blow me away and I have several garages full of Buick parts.
