Sam, I've got a lead on a car coming up for sale that was said to be owned previously by youreslf and Otis Chandler once upon a time. Have been told that it won best GS/GSX at the Nats in 1989. Any truth to this? I understand it's a nice one? Body by Fisher ST70 44637FL1 258477BDY TR188 QQ Pnt 05C
X Yes Mike, that was the first one I had. I got it from the original owner in Chicago, it had 39,400 miles on it. Dave Kliener did the resto. (stub) and his brother did the engine. Otis sold it to Ken Funk (Mopar collector) and he later sold it to a guy who sells to the Japaness buyers. Sam
Well, it's got 49,805 on it now. You guys didn't drive it much. So fair to say the restoration was about 20 years and 10K miles ago?
After some detective work, the white one looks to be a PNT 10-10; TR 118 Stage1 with only 27K miles painted with GSX stripes. Loaded with almost all options except AC and a California car before it was exported.
He was asking 50K for the yellow one and 35K for the white one a few years ago. Although it sounded expensive then, its cheap today. The prices he's asking today will sound cheap in a few years too
No Chris, I bought a different one. White GS Stage1 with brown top and interior. The two Jason's talking about are still for sale. Generally speaking I'm a bottom feeder.
