Anyone put a Fuel pressure guage between the stock line and carb inlet without cutting/splicing the line?

I'm looking to put a guage in line that will be hidden by the air cleaner, but I don't want to cut/splice the original metal line. Any Idea's..... :Do No:

    Vin,
I don't think that is possible. The pressure reading has to be taken in line and close to the carb. I suggest you buy another steel fuel line, cut it and put in a pressure tap. Then run a line and gauge, and tape it to the window. Use it to check your pressure at various throttle openings, and then reinstall your original fuel line after you're done testing.
