I will have to order a set of pushrods for my new motor, and was wondering which would be better.

It should be in the 11s. 72 heads.

Also what is suggested as far as manufactures, who to buy or who to stay away from?

TA Performance. They don't sell a single part that's crap. Their rockers are the best ( yes, they're T&D's, but only the TA's have the bearing spacer machined into them). Their front covers are the best. Their bearings, rods, pistons, fasteners, heads, intakes, etc. are the best.

Not only that, but Mike T. has put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and cold hard green cash into these old Buicks and we pretty much have him to thank for all of the wonderful new products that are out for the 455. Yes, you can say, the rods are Crower, the push rods are Smith brothers, the fasteners are ARP, the rockers are T&D, but the only reason that these manufacturers make parts for the 455 is because Mike T harassed them until they did. Then, he had to order the parts that he harassed them into making.

Do us all a favor and buy from TA Performance so that Mike can keep doing what he does best, kicking a:blast:
