Hey guys I'm at the point where I need to order interior for my 71 Skylark convertible and was wondering the pros and cons of each manufacturer. I'm doing door panels and seats (Pearl White) so any advise or personal experience would be great. I've seen where you can order panels "assembled vs unassmebled" ...can someone give me some background on the differences? Also can you order direct from both manufacturers or do you have to go through someone like OPGI, Year1, PartsPlace etc? Hopefully I'll be shooting some color in the next couple weeks, I'll try to get some progress pics up soon. Thanks

You can verify pricing and compare to OPG.

OPG offers free shipping so that is something to consider.

Assembled is ready to install. If you are not familiar with redoing
the door panels and rear panels, you probably want to get them assembled.
We have an article on our site for this item.

I have used legendaries seat covers and have been pleased with the results. I plan on using their door panels as well as I have seen them on display at the GS Nationals and they look nice. If you are going to the nationals call them and maybe you can pick them up there and save shipping that is what I did.

Also I think the assembled come with plastic upper pieces better to get unnassembled and have you shop use your steel originals.

    OPG sells PUI

I bought my interior from OPG, almost all of it was PUI components.
If I had it to "do over" I would have ordered directly from Legendary.

If you are going to GS Nationals and order it all from Legendary they will give you a price that is very competitive.

Ok thanks for the input guys. I guess I'll make some phone calls and see what I can do. I'm figuring probably Legendary is the route I'll go. They are closer and shipping shouldn't be too bad. I'll be doing all the work myself (I'm too cheap to pay anyone to do something I can do) so thanks for the Tech info George.
