hey Ratroaster if you need a frame for your T my friend Tim Perkins has one he will sell you give him a call he still has a ton of parts for these cars
Its going to be a drive train swap, so I should be alright except for a turbo hood and turbo hood ornament. Restoring the actual wrecked turbo car will be a couple years down the line yet. THanks Chris :TU:
It wouldn't be fair to report all the good things with a carburated turbo motor. So this is what I found out.On excelleration with some Boost, the fuell & air is mixed in the turbo itself, so when you let out of it you get a ritch mixture and it loads up.Don't get me wrong it still runs great. The problem it's not as bad once she's warmed up to P.O.T. Thank you! I also wanted to mention this motor runs without any computer or electric pumps or fans! :Smarty:
So what are you telling us.......the first mod we should make is rip off the stock carb and put on a 73' 800 quadrajet???
No,It's not a carb problem, It's just expect some exhaust SMOKE.You do want to remove the stock "heat plate " from under that Q-jet however
After things were going so well, Tim Perkins hooked me up with brown bucket seats, T-Type steering wheel and 85 GN under bumper spoiler :beer . Things turned for the worse when after test driving , head gasket failed :af: so I guess the silver lining is I get to port the heads. :blast:
