I just had my disc brake rotors cut and I want to put something on the new surface to prevent rust until I can get them on the car. I've read that Boeshield T9 is good stuff for that application. Any one use that, or did similar with another product? It must be easy to clean off so I want to avoid silicone, like WD-40 or Pledge.

PBlaster & WD40 both make products that spray on & leave an oily coating that lasts up to a year & can be rinsed off with Brakleen.
