been batteling a detonation/preigntion under 3000rpms randomly . I mix 100 and 93 4 gals to 7gals, I changed from locked dist to adding my mech advance back in.. light silver , heavy silver spring, ( going to throw a heavy heavy in it. ).. boost reference fuel pressure is working and fp is set to 6.5-7 psi and goes to 17 under full boost. timing is a total of 32 and a initial of 12. feel I may need to made a change in my air bleeds. had the carb built by CSU. It never happends when under boost only when I am 1/4 throttle and tipping into it. drive around easy, never happens.. any ideas Thanks Paul
Have you tried backing the timing down ? 32 is way to much imo, maybe im just used to late model boost apps but timing is pulled as boost increases not added like your doin now , I wouldn't go over 24 total , I know your not cruising around on 32 but with 12 at idle by 3000 you gotta be close to 20+
