    Hi all,
Our buddy Fritz (Stage III) is going in today to have (as he called it) a
    "Gastro Introwhatyamuhcallit"
He's been having a few problems so they want to find out what is going on.
I don't know how major of a thing this is, but if y'all could please keep him in your thoughts & prayers it would be wonderful.

He's a super great guy & we hate to see him not feeling so good.

    Thanks,
    Beth

    Thanks people

Didn't expect to see this as I was cruising the new posts but Thank you all very much, I really appreciate the prayers.

The appointment today went as good as "those" kind of appointments can go but no solutions until they do other tests.

Tomorrow (hopefully, or first of next week) will be CT Scans of the lower abdomen, and lymph nodes, then a colonoscopy (joy, joy) and possibly an endoscopy depending on CT scan results.

Still just real weak, dizzy, sick to my stomach along with constant mid to lower level stomach pain (4 or 5 on 10 scale).

So just as Monday night when I was told to go to the ER (bleeding) "They know, that they don't know, ya know?".

I STILL just snuck outside (under the cover of darkness :Brow: ) while everyone was asleep to do some work on my new 70 model clone.

I have not had any illness bad enough yet to keep me from playing with my toys :TU:

Went to replace the "yellow, body colored 455 valve covers" :Dou: (was having nightmares about these horrors!) :spank: anyhow should be a nice simple job for a sick guy (even prayed about it going easy before I started) but NOooooooooooooooo.

First looked for 1 1/2 hours for one of the new Stage 1 valve covers (no luck) then I looked through my old ones (nope to rough, starting to feel like a 3 bears story).

So I go to install the one I could find and take the tough side first (always like getting the bad one out of the way on ANY project).
So A/C side it is, get the valve cover off the "rebuilt 455" (just bought the car a week ago) and there sits a rocker arm keeper in the cylinder head drain hole (actually in BOTH drain holes), look a little more and a total of 4(!) of them are gone (1 on drivers side).

Don't have any in the barn so here I sit typing. If I have to have faith everything has a reason, I suppose those hideous valve covers actually made me find a potential big problem. If he reused these I am just wondering what other gems of mechanical wisdom I will be finding on this car.

Hey, it's all still good I still have a cool car and I got into it right and I can just fix it as I go along.

Sorry to get on a roll rambling on about Buicks, but Thanks again for the prayers, I really appreciate you guys :TU:

    Fritz out
