They keep a box on the alter where I go to church that contains slips of paper with names written on them. People are encouraged to say a word of prayer throughout the week for the names in the prayer box. I think I'll start a little prayer box of my own and keep it here at the computer. Then I can add the names to it when I see someone on the board request prayer, besides keeping some of my own special names in it. +++
Good Idea. I try to keep a journal of requests, and cross them out when answered. It really adds a whole new dimention to the equasion when you see God answer prayers. Actually If you wish to add me and my wife, you can pray for wisdom. My wife agrees that I need more space for my hobies, and is willing to give up her perfect kitchen to look for a new place. We will most likely put the place up next week, and get a place with land and a pole barn. What a big step for a 28 year old. Anyway you can pray for wisdom and discerning. Thanks. Jason

Prayer for Mark Walizer I live in a small valley area where everyone knows everyone.Today I found out that a neighbor(Mark) was bitten around 10-15 times by a Copperhead snake. The last we heard about 3 hours ago was that he wasn't going to pull through it.He is only about 43 years old and has a daughter.It is very disturbing to actually know someone personally that is in dire need.At this point he is in Gods hands and we will have to await the outcome.Please say a prayer for Mark and his family.I hope he makes a full recovery but if not I hope that God takes care of him and his family. I finally put the house on the market yesterday, and have a walkthough today. Pray for a quick sale!!!!
Dwayne, Just a little update.My mom spoke with Marks family last week and he is doing remarkably better.Seems he was putting mulch down and crossed paths with a mean Copperhead.He is not out of the woods totally but is expected to make a good recovery.He will have to under-go some intense therapy but that is a small price to pay considering the earlier reports.I would like to thank all who said prayers for Mark and his family.I know it meant alot to me and his family too.
