I never got around to using their shoes. I ordered the "Brakes in a Box" complete kit. They wrote down the wrong year car on the invoice, when I called and questioned them they said "They'll work, they're all the same". Well they are not the same wheel cylinders, and they wouldn't fit. More phone time. They said if I sent the stuff back there would be a restocking charge, no matter that it was their fault the parts were wrong. By this time I had lost confidence in them, I paid the very high restocking fee and sent them back. I will never do business with them again. The owner of the company was very rude, a real "smart a$$" when I told him I would send them back. Their stuff can't be that great, when someone whines about new, unused parts being returned to them, after they made a mistake, they aren't a very good company, IMO. I wouldn't use their stuff if they offered it free after the way he treated me. And they are way overpriced. The small parts are the same cheap stuff you can get at Autozone or Carquest, but you pay double for it, only the shoes could possibly be different.
    For me, they are OUT.
Another point, the owner has his return lingo perfected. I called my credit card help line to try to get a full refund for what I considered was his fault. But he tells the card people his parts are "custom made" or "special order" of some bull that is not true. The parts are setting there ready to ship and are not custom made like he tells the card company. That tells me he has had the opportunity to figure out a way around the card companies helping their customers get their money back. He's smart about it, just not smart enough to get the order right in the first place.

I purchased the front brake kit only. I installed the shoes and wheel cylinders and had to rework the formed metal lines that go to the cylinders to get them to work.I pumped up the power bleeder to 15 lbs ,and promptly had fluid pouring out of both cylinders. I took them off and upon diassasembly noticed a corrosion ring in both cylinders. the owner said he would replace them if I sent them back.He just couldnt believe that there was anything wrong with them, and tried to blame it on my installation. we will see how it is handled and I will report here. Also the bleeders are metric,so if you have any special wrenches to aid on bleeding they are worthless. He also told me the cylinders are larger than stock, but they measure the same to me.they are also a company that doubles the shipping . A box that weighed less than 10lbs cost $18. plus a $5. "gas surcharge".

I went and got the 11 inch rear backing plates off a 77 Cutlass for $20 and then put all new brake parts and drums on them. They bolted straight on my 70 and the total cost was about $150 and they work much better than the orginal 9.5's. I was concerned they would overpower the front disc brakes and I'd have to use a adjustable proportioning valve but that turned out to be a non issue. The front and rear brakes work very well together.
