Ready to paint the car but not sure which red I want. I had the paint shop mix me 4 different reds one from 68, 69, 70, and just for fun a Ferrari color.
    signal red 2076
    scarlet red 71634
    fire red 2189
    rosso corsa 75250
Problem is all but the 75250 look identical yet none of them look like the signal red in my book. They told me when I ordered the samples that PPG had changed the names of the colors.
Signal Red 2076 is now called Garnet Red 2076
Scarlet Red 71634 is now called Matador Red 71634
Fire Red 2189 is now called Red 2189
Isnt Garnet red and Matador red just other divisions names for Signal red?
I attached a picture but its hard to tell.
Am I going color blind? Were the three reds from 68,69,70 almost identical?
    Thanks
    Matt
