ok dont know if anyone else has tried this but im running a 308s cam not much room for brakes so i bought a powermaster hydraboost setup for a grand national and put it on my 68 gs works great easy to wire all i had to do was modify one brake line and make a new clevis for the brake pedal

the brake lines are backwards on a grand national from most cars so the rearmost master cylinder line fit almost perfectly into the front port on the new system and i bent the front line to go to the rear of the new system added power and ive got power assist brakes without having to depend on vacuum

How about some pics. I have heard that there can be some reliabilty problems with these. The big problem is they are not cheap. Not sure I would trust one from a junkyard (like you can find one there!) I do like the feel that I get from the system on my GN.

ill see if i can get some pictures up and going

unreliable that is the story but you also have to remember that is on a daily driven vehicle that gets lots of miles even if it goes out you still have manual brakes both my GS and my GN get out once a month maybe i dont have any problems with they system on the GN

you can find these systems at auto zone and at advanced auto for about $350 and lifetime warranty at that its a nice and neat looking install no huge vacuum booster hanging off plenty of room to get to the back plugs and valve cover with ease ill see if i can post up a few pics pretty soon
