If you want a 2 speed transmission, look for an early-mid 60's Buick ST300. It's bascially Buicks version of the powerglide.
I was asking because a guy offered me a 305 long block and powerglide for $100. And I figured the trans case alone should be worth that.
OK... dumb question here.... Will the adapter plate for the bellhousing also adapt the torque converter to bolt up to the flywheel???
The kit should also provide a spacer that will fit the converter snout and span the distance to the pilot at the back of the crankshaft. Devon
ok.. that gets one more question out of the way... Now back the the problem of bolting the converter to the flywheel??
