my passanger side rear power window doesnt work everything else works fine. can you get rebuild kits or new motors or could I salvage the one I have? thanks
Check the voltage at the motor while opening and closing the door. A common problem is broken or frayed wires at the door jam.
Did you try it from every switch? Did you try to work the window from both the drivers door switch and the rear door itself? If it works from neither, then refer to flynbuicks post. If it works from one or the other, then it is a switch wiring problem only.
and if you know your motors are bad....good luck. getting them out is a major PITA. i havent got mine out yet.....pretty stumped.
windows what if 2 windows go down from drivers side other 2 dont but they all go up from drivers side an they all go down from ther own side switch ?is this a short ? what can i do ? o No:
I had the same problem on my 68 Riv. Faulty switch on drivers side. Was able to open it and get the contacts cleaned up. Per. :beer
