Ok heres the deal. I'm installing all new vintage glass. So I thought it might be a good idea to convert to power windows. So first I have posted for regulators and motors in the parts wanted section. Very happy for the replys so far.
I knew a complete power window harness would be hard to find in great condition.
We all know 50 year old wire or bad switch connectors could cause minor to serious problems. But I have no problem doing the recondition work as long as its cost effective.
I found this kit in Summit Racing. The reviews are mixed. I'm sure some of the problems are due to little or no experience doing electrical work. Reviews say switches are junk. They look correct as for the look on a 1971. Under Q&A it says the original switches will plug up the same. Heres the link. Tell me what you think.

Looks like all but 1 review is bad. I know a few companies carry the correct for your car wiring (not universal) but the cost is much more than the kit you found. The switches are also available from Lectric Limited among others. Electrical is something that may cost less to pay more in the long run.

not used it but i could make it work. hell i can make a manual regulator into power with a motor from another vehicle that has the same size gearing if need be. switches look standard like the gm ones. idk how they are junk really. switch is a switch. i would probably just buy the wire and build my own harness's. then just buy gm switches and the back side of them. save alot of money and prob heavier wire. most modern cares use aluminum wire anymore though so that one review isnt a concern to me.

The switches may be the same Chinese chrome plastic ones you find in the Help section of your parts store.
Originals were chrome pot metal, and Im sure the innards were of better quality.
They would probably work ok tho.

If the pics I've seen are correct, 2 wire.
