Power window overhaul??

Hey everyone, Im still working on the Riv for his new paintjob. Right now I have the doors off and all side panels. The Power windows have pretty much play, so Im thinking of overhauling them. Is there a place where I can get overhaul kits for all the windows?

Is the play in the regulator mechanism itself or is the glass just loose on the track?
Most auto glass shops can do repairs on the regulators or the glass mounting hardware.

 

Well, I just got the rear windows out now. The regulator looks good. The play is in the plastic parts, where the window is mounted to the track. I live in Germany and I wont find auto glass shops who have Buick parts here.

The pieces that mount the glass to the tracks are not Buick specific.
They are good old GM parts and cover many makes and models for many years. I think you would get lucky.

Almost all GM models used the same size.

 

Thanks for that information, but Ive been to hundrets of internetshops now and I only found some rollers for quarter windows, but the riviera quarter has only 1 roller and 2 guides. Didnt find guides anywhere.
