power trunk button location?

    correct pwr trunk button location and color---1970 skylark?--green or black button?, and does it go in the metal flange to the left of the glove box, or in the box liner under the glove box light?---thanks!

    Put mine driver's side, in steel brace under the dash, just to one side of the park brake knob.

    Installed mine in the glove box liner. Green button.

    Swap meets, I bought mine at Flint, at the Centennial. The trunk lock is common to many GM cars.

    Took a couple from a local yard. Crusher has been there since.
    One from a '73 LeSabre, other from a late '70's Rally Sport Camaro. Same piece in the Camaro, only mounted on the trunk rear wall rather than the lid. Firebird would be the same.
    As Larry mentioned, many, many GM cars had them. Buttons changed colours occasionally.
