tHAT IS A 1968-1970 bUICK 8.2 WITH 28 SPLINE BOLT IN AXLES We can make that 2.73 posi if you like the gear. If you do not like the gear then we only have 3.64 and a Auburn posi unit and rebuild kit to do this rear. We had 3.42 but do not know if Fab craft is going to run another 30 or NOT...??? Jim
i do like those gear jim what has to be done to lock that rear end just wish i had the 8.5 from 71 seems like there is a little more out there for it
Just buy a powertrax from jim and them find another rear to build up. Do the same with another th350 trans and another buick 350... Swap them in as needed and keep keep the smile big and wide!:grin:
We can install a real posi in that with the 2.56 2.73 and 2.93. I have a NEW posi carrier that will fit now. I am always working hard. LOL. Jim SO all you nee d to do is install the ring to the posi and install the carrier and we will send the shims to do this so you get your backlash right back where it was again. SO check the back lash before removing anything then write it down. NO resetting pinion depth or anything complicated etc. I can also sell you the power trax if you want BUT us may not fit the cavity of those spiders. Which I think is the problem we had Sean. Remember we just wanted to get you by for a while...That did not work on this 68-70 buick rear. Jim Why the heck did it post the pictures there? Jim
