Does anyone know where I can get the clamp for the return hose on my '70 Stage 1? Naturally,I'll need a new one since I changed the hoses. Thanks for your help.
Hey Carl.Return hose clamp?? I think it`s a worm gear type clamp..no?? o No: I use a GM black clamp. PN here is 22527587 this will fit on a 3/8" hose no problem,looks better than a shiny standard gear clamp. :TU:Later,Tony.
Carl Are you talking about the Corbin pinch clamp or the thinner specialty clamp? Tony These cars did not come with worm clamps even on the water hoses.
Jim and Tony,The clamp I'm looking for looks like a CV joint clamp and uses a special pair of pliers to crimp it. Do you know where I can get these? You guys do know I have to have this type of clamp for concours. :Brow:
Help offers these in a pack but the diameter of those in the standard packs may be too small for this application. In which case you have to go to a parts specialty house. CARS (www.oldbuickparts.com) sells them in the bigger diameters. Measure the hose OD with calipers first to be sure you know the size. If you have trouble let me know and I will give you their part number once you give me the O.D..
