I've fitted a 455ci into a Chevy K10 step side pick-up (I live in England). I've made the bracket to mount the power steering pump and now need to get the new hose's made. Does anybody know what the port thread sizes are in the steering box? One is 5/8 UNF, the other is slightly larger (but not 3/4 UNF). If anyone knows I would be greatful. I may have carried out a no-no in all your eye's , but I've now put a great (rare) engine in a rare truck over here.

    Best regards, Drew.

    Thanks guys

Cheers guys for the replies. People over here told me to fit a Chevy (350 or 454), but I told them that the 455 is not that much heavier than a 350 and has more grunt. This is my first American truck - I've up graded from a Toyota that I was originally going to fit the 455 into!!

    Thanks, Drew.
